Featuring Guest Speaker Jeremy Benton, Technology Transfer Program for Y-12 and CNS Pantex
Jeremy Benton is the Program Manager for Technology Transfer Program for Y-12, a National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN and CNS Pantex Plant in Amarillo, TX. In his 6 years in TT, Jeremy has overseen innovative changes and improvements to the traditional TT process driving growth in organization and making the TT process more business friendly. He is a past member of the Department of Energy’s Technology Transfer Working Group Executive Committee, and currently serves on the Federal Laboratory Consortium’s Executive Board in the position of Southeast Regional Coordinator. Prior to technology transfer, Jeremy has held positions in engineering and private business management. Jeremy is an advocate for small businesses and technology based start-ups and serves as a Mentor through the Department of Energy’s Mentor-Protégé program.
